'''''Must you always be right''''' is a song by [[LorD and Master]] that got finished five years after it was started. It's about a person who thinks they are more attractive than they really are, just because they have a nice car. The title came from a colleague at Dan's former office job, who said, "you should write a song called 'Must you always be right?'" rather snarkily.

<nowiki>You’re not as clever as you think you are
You’re not as sexy as you think you look in your car
It makes no difference, it’s not black-and-white
Answer me this: must you always be right

Driving your convertible
Nicki on the stereo
Think you’re looking fine
Seems so many years ago
The twink you once were left to go
And you’re ageing like milk, not wine

Snide remarks ‘bout people’s weight
You’d never take them on a date
And now your looks are in the past
All that ego, all that mouth
Anger at things going south
What made you special didn’t last

You’re not as clever as you think you are
You’re not as sexy as you think you look in your car
It makes no difference, it’s not black-and-white
Answer me this: must you always be right

What I find so delicious
Is that you were just malicious
Now you think you understand
But, of course, you’re still clueless
Of exactly what the truth is
And you were always underhand

Hierarchy of the pretty face
Putting yourself in first place
An unappealing toxic trait
“Hot” is such a shallow label
But your place at the hot boys’ table
Came with an expiry date

You’re not as clever as you think you are
You’re not as sexy as you think you look in your car
It makes no difference, it’s not black-and-white
Answer me this: must you always be right

You’re not as clever as you think you are
You’re not as sexy as you think you look in your car
It makes no difference, it’s not black-and-white
Answer me this: must you always be right

You’re not as clever as you think you are
You’re not as sexy as you think you look in your car
It makes no difference, it’s not black-and-white
Answer me this: must you always be right</nowiki>
