"'''I heard it in the 80s'''" is a song by [[LorD and Master]] about a song that was heard in the past that the narrator cannot fully remember. They can remember how the chorus goes, but not the artist or the name of the song. They heard it in a club in the 80s. The song in question is actually an amalgamation of a two songs: "I'm not scared" by Patsy Kensit and the Eighth Wonder ("I think it had a French bit") and "I want to wake up" by [[Pet Shop Boys]] ("the second verse said something observational...").

==Lyrics==
<nowiki>I heard it in the 80s
On the radio
The DJ never named that song
And now we'll never know

But it goes la la la la la la
La la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la

I can't remember the artist
I can't remember the song
I think it had a French bit
But I might be wrong

Je pense qu'il y a un problème
J'ai oublié let mots
But Google knows everything
I'll give the chorus another go

I heard it in the 80s
On the radio
The DJ never named that song
And now we'll never know

But it goes la la la la la la
La la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la

The second verse said something
Observational
About being at the kitchen sink
Feeling emotional

Tears falling into the water
As you wash the dishes
Staring out of the window at your
Unfulfilled wishes

I heard it in the 80s
On the radio
The DJ never named that song
And now we'll never know

But it goes la la la la la la
La la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la

Repeated line
Through a vocoder
Just like Giorgio Moroder
Repeated line
Through a vocoder
Just like Giorgio Moroder
Repeated line
Through a vocoder
Just like Giorgio Moroder
Repeated line
Through a vocoder
Just like Giorgio Moroder

I heard it in the 80s
On the radio
The DJ never named that song
And now we'll never know

But it goes la la la la la la
La la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la</nowiki>
