"Thinking it through" is a song by LorD and Master about the beginning of a relationship. This largely-fictional, upbeat record appears on the album One and is dominated by a catchy chord sequence and New Order-esque octave bassline and is one of the first records where LorD and Master experimented with vocal harmonies.
Lyrics
When we first met, I was Caught off-guard, I was Battle-scarred, by those Things which came before I took my time but I Let it go and I Let you know that you Rock me to my very core I've been Thinking it through And I've Come to a decision With your permission I'd like you to be mine Fast forward months we were Getting along, we were Going strong with you Always in my heart Through ups and downs you were There for me, as you Only could be, but I Hated us being apart When I come home you are Already there, you are Ready to declare just how Much you love me Looking back, I was Waiting for you, I was Hoping for you to Come along and set me free
