Lightning never strikes twice

"Lightning never strikes twice" is a song by LorD and Master from the album Decimus. The idea behind the song is that if you repeat a process while changing a variable, the result will be different. Thus, lightning never strikes twice (in the same place). Though this concept is scientifically accurate, it is patently not scientifically accurate that lightning never strikes in the same place twice. Lightning rods, high buildings and vegetation and so on, are often struck by lightning multiple times, so before anyone begins to criticise the scientific accuracy of the lyric, please note that it is a metaphor. We thank you.
Lyrics
You think you're alone Don't be afraid You think you're running out of time But plans are laid You've learned from your mistakes So take my advice: Don't repeat the situation Lightning never strikes twice Lightning never strikes In the same place twice Lightning never strikes In the same place twice Lightning never strikes In the same place twice Lightning never strikes In the same place twice Come into the sun Burn off the sadness Just take my hand And join the madness
