Sunrise

"Sunrise" is a song by LorD and Master from the album Decimus. The song's lyrics were written by Peter Nugent under the name "Now, tonight" as a joke that Dan uses those two words more than any others in writing his songs. The lyrics fit well with an abandoned song for which Dan had produced the music, and so, renaming the track, "Sunrise" was created.

Lyrics

I feel the crash of the rain
But I'm here inside with you
And with so much we can gain
The life ahead we will go through

The thunderous sound in my ears
Proves that shedding of the tears
This is worth every single one
Every single one
Every single one

A vortex in the unknown
A great schism in our heart
But we roar against the darkness
We shall never be apart
And we struggle on and on
Until we reach that sunrise
We struggle on and on and on
Till we reach the sunrise

An impish smile makes me feel strong
I shield you from internal strife
I'm bid to flee, an action wrong
But I'll stand here, and will for life
