Minimalistic

"Minimalistic" is a song by LorD and Master from the album Comatose. The song is about being an artist and receiving questionable advice from other artists. It also deals with not wanting to disappoint or embarrass parents, as an artist.

Lyrics

It's not intended to be a race
Take that confusion off your face
No competition, you don't wanna risk it
Just keep it simple and minimalistic

And I
Saw you evolving
And I
Felt the Earth revolving
Keep it still

When you add more, you make it more complex
And there's a chance it won't make any sense
There's a fine line between being artistic
And being OTT, so keep it minimalistic

And I
Saw you evolving
And I
Felt the Earth revolving
Keep it still

Once you're dead, you're made for life
Don't go the way of the knife

And I
Saw you evolving
And I
Felt the Earth revolving
Keep it still

Keep it still
Keep it still
Keep it still
Keep it still

I know you wanna be special
I know you wanna be successful
I know you're ostentatious
But I don't you to disgrace us

I know you wanna be special
I know you wanna be successful
I know you're ostentatious
But I don't you to disgrace us

I know you wanna be special
I know you wanna be successful
I know you're ostentatious
But I don't you to disgrace us

I know you wanna be special
I know you wanna be successful
I know you're ostentatious
But I don't you to disgrace us
