"There's still time to save the world" is a song by LorD and Master which appears on Pensive. The song looks at conservation and ecology and the fact that humans are causing a disproportionate amount of damage and, while we are largely willing to change the world for the better, we don't seem to be able. A computerised voice proclaims that there's still time to save the world, but the song notes that even if man does go extinct due to its own success, the world will still turn and the remaining species will recover in time.

There’s still time to save the world

Ever looked at a meteor shower
As the Earth revolves at one thousand miles an hour
And wished for an asteroid among the shooting stars
To hit the reset button on this world of ours

The problem lies entirely with our kind
The spirit’s willing but our eyes are blind
Destruction wrought with technological progress
Death is the process

There’s still time to save the world

Without you
Without me
The world would turn just as easily
Oceans rise and
Man will fall
No meaningful sign we were ever here at all

The year three thousand goes one of two ways
Dependent on our pulling back from the end of days
To tackle hunger is to tackle greed
To tackle the shackles inequality clamped on our feet

Could be a new day
Could find a new way
Put that ingenuity to good use
Reap the fruits

There’s still time to save the world

Without you
Without me
The world would turn just as easily
Oceans rise and
Man will fall
No meaningful sign we were ever here at all

It won’t be easy
Leisurely
Or even fun
But now’s the time
To come together
As one

This planet will recover
From being too cold or too hot
But it will always do so
Whether we’re here or not

There’s still time to save the world

Without you
Without me
The world would turn just as easily
Oceans rise and
Man will fall
No meaningful sign we were ever here at all

Without you
Without me
The world would turn just as easily
Oceans rise and
Man will fall
No meaningful sign we were ever here at all

There’s still time to save the world
