Kaleidophonic is an album by LorD and Master. Released 8 December 2014, it is the sixth original studio album by the artist and the first to include 'interlude' tracks. It also marks the transition from Apple's Logic Pro 9 to version 10 (rendered henceforth as X) that Dan uses for music production.

Concept

The idea behind the album was to create a pop album with heavy electronic sounds and also to have a mish-mash of styles, separated into three distinct sets (albeit with a little blurring) separated by two 'interval' instrumental tracks. The album artwork was originally a collage of images from Dan's iPhone, replicated in a four-way mirroring kaleidoscope, but it was deemed too personal by his friends and his boyfriend suggested stark, bold glowing lines arranged in a six-way kaleidoscope.
