LorD's theme
"LorD's theme" is an instrumental song by LorD and Master. Originally written in 1997 on the Korg Trinity Pro, this waltz-style (3/4 time signature) piece was called "Medusa" after it was imagined that a creature of that ilk was walking through her stately home, filled with statues of her own making.
The song was repurposed and renamed in 2006 when Dan's online gaming community, UFO, in which his name was LorD, required music for their 'greatest hits' CD, which included music the community had take into its heart. As the 'leader' of the 'clan', LorD required a theme that was stately and slightly menacing, so "Medusa" became "LorD's theme".
Completely reworked in 2015, "LorD's theme" retains its new title and is constructed entirely from samples, other than the introductory synth line.
