Pass this on

"Pass this on" is a song written by Swedish electronic music duo The Knife and covered by LorD and Master on more than one album. The song tells the tale of a fan who is enamoured of the lead vocalist's brother, who plays keyboard and produces music in the brother-and-sister duo. For the LorD and Master version, permission was sought to 'gay up' the lyrics by changing the gender and hair colour mentioned in the first verse to make out it was sung from the point of view of an obsessive gay man rather than an obsessive straight woman.

Lyrics

I'm in love with your brother/What's his name
I thought I'd come by/To see him again
When you two danced/Oh what a dance
And when you two laughed/Oh what a laugh

Has he mentioned my age, love?
Or is he more into you guys with bleached blond hair
I'm in love with your brother
I thought I'd come by

I'm in love with your brother/Yes I am
But maybe I/Shouldn't ask for his name
And you danced/Oh what a dance
And you laughed/Oh what a laugh

Does he know/What I do
You'll pass this on/Won't you
If I asked him once/What would he say
Is he willing? Can he play?
