"This is now" is a song by LorD and Master from the album, Decimus. The song is sung from the point of view of a person trying to cheer up a friend who has decided to re-enter the dating scene after a painful break-up. The friend in question is the same individual as the protagonist in the previous song, "That was then".

Lyrics

Whatcha sitting there for?
Why aren't you doing your best?
If he's one in a billion
You've gotta be better than the rest

The rest are coming for him
It's as though he's a star
Just 'cause he follows you on Instagram
Doesn't mean he knows who you are

This is now
This is now
This is now
This is now
You should make your move
This is now
This is now
This is now
This is now
You should make your move
You don't have time to waste
So there's nothing to prove
This is now
This is now
This is now
This is now
You should make your move

You've gotta put yourself out there
And then he can choose
Give it all, you know you can
You've got nothing to lose

Scope out the competition
Make yourself so appealing
And when you get what you want you'll be
Dancing on the ceiling
