Vignettes is an album by LorD and Master. It is the first in a bumper year of music celebrating 15 years of the act. The release date for Vignettes is 9 February 2024.

Concept

The idea behind Vignettes is that it is an album of two halves. Both halves contain songs that are snapshots, musical pictures of scenes. The first half is that of landscapes and the second half, portraits. The artwork for the first two singles (an edit and remix of "This England"), are that of the view from LorD and Master's new studio in St Leonards-on-Sea, having moved away from the sea front flat. The scene shows a wet and windy English house block, complete with rainwater pooling on a flat shed roof. The three main artworks were plague doctor-inspired, returning to the LorD and Master aesthetic that was used prior to the first Redux album. They show the plague doctor on a beach on the main artwork, sleeping in a room for "In your dreams" and standing on a building for the "High rise" artwork.
