"Europa" is a song by LorD and Master. The first track on Space, it narrates the tale of members of a colony on the moon Europa, who are embarking on an expedition into deep space to find a new place to settle. It is also a metaphor for the United Kingdom leaving the European Union.
Lyrics
Leaving Europa after so many years We said our goodbyes and we held back our tears Plotting a course into deep space Our saving grace Leaving Europan dust in our wake There's no turning back if we've made a mistake Believing that we're the best of our race Our saving grace Flinging ourselves into the unknown Can we do this Can we do this alone Alone We're never going home We're out here all alone Though I'm chilled to the bone What's done is done We're never going home We're out here all alone Though I'm chilled to the bone What's done is done What's done is done What's done is done What's done is done Flinging ourselves into the unknown Can we do this Can we do this alone Flinging ourselves into the unknown Can we do this Can we do this alone Alone Leaving Europa after so many years We said our goodbyes and we held back our tears Plotting a course into deep space Our saving grace Our saving grace Our saving grace
