Space is the twenty-forth original studio album by LorD and Master. Released 7 October 2022, this album is an exploration of themes based on the concept of outer space.

Concept

Space is a concept album in that it sticks to one underlying theme, as did the album before, Comatose. The music is unwaveringly electronic and spacious, drenched in lush reverbs and smooth, dynamic pads. Each song has a single-word title; a seed from which each song grew. The idea of the album is also about leaving your troubles behind you and forging out into the unknown, for better or worse.

For the design of the artwork, LorD and Master used Adobe AfterEffects to construct a scene of asteroids surrounding a planet with volumetric lighting emerging from behind the planet.
