"Help me" is a song by LorD and Master from the album Comatose. The song is ostensibly about the need for the album's comatose protagonist for medical and psychological help, but is actually probably LorD and Master's most deeply personal song, about dealing with the loneliness of living in a strange city, not knowing enough people and being away from friends and family.
Lyrics
Help yourself if you wanna I'm not gonna stay any longer You got me retreating into my mind This isn't always easy And we can't always be so breezy But we can't make excuses all the time So I stay at home in bed and I dream That I'm in the middle of a crowd and I scream Help me if you can I'm one broken, fucked-up man Help me and my ailing health Above all Help me help myself Finding the streets too crazy Becoming so fat and lazy Hurting the ones I love all the time I wish I could say it was fleeting But more and more I'm retreating Coming to terms that I'm past my prime So I stay at home in bed and I dream That I'm in the middle of a crowd and I scream Help me if you can I'm one broken, fucked-up man Help me and my ailing health Above all Help me help myself So I stay at home in bed and I dream That I'm in the middle of a crowd and I scream Help me if you can I'm one broken, fucked-up man Help me and my ailing health Above all Help me help myself
