"Waking nightmare" is a song by LorD and Master from the album Comatose. Now becoming even more aware of the situation that has unfolded during their five years in a coma, the album's protagonist is aghast to find that the world they left no longer exists; they now live in a relative dystopia and points the finger at the government mismanaging everything.
