Where we ought to be

Where we ought to be is a song by LorD and Master from Pensive. The song is about examining a relationship and wondering if it's going in the right direction and at the right speed for it to be viable.

Lyrics

Where are we now
Are we anywhere near
Where we ought to be
Where are we now
Are we drifting apart
You and me
Where are we now
Are we anywhere near
Where we ought to be

Feeling your way through another mad
Situation
You’ve got a question
Of where we ought to be
Should we be here at all
Or should we follow the exit signs

I think you should know there are times
When I’m filled with doubt
Centred about
Where we ought to be
Should we follow the formula
Or simply resign

Where are we now
Are we anywhere near
Where we ought to be
Where are we now
Are we drifting apart
You and me
Where are we now
Are we anywhere near
Where we ought to be

Where are we now
Are we anywhere near
Where we ought to be
Where are we now
Are we drifting apart
You and me
Where are we now
Are we anywhere near
Where we ought to be
