"Polarity" is the third original studio album by LorD and Master. Released on 19 March 2011, it was the first album to be produced using Apple's Logic Pro software.

Concept

The concept behind //Polarity// was to create an album that was, in many way, bipolar. Having just been diagnosed with bipolar II disorder, Dan was understandably deeply affected by this and wanted to express this through an album. So Polarity, the title being a direct reference to the condition, was a mix of dancey and sombre. Though this is perhaps how most LorD and Master albums come across, this was the first album to have this mix of emotions to its songs for a specific reason and to express a particular concept.
