Queer album artwork.

Queer is an album by LorD and Master. The album covers a number of different issues surrounding the subject of LGBTQ+ communities, hence the name.

Concept

The concept of the album was to make an album that explores queer themes and stories. Using electronic pop to convey the duality of queer lives; their joy and their desperation; their sense of community and their loneliness, the album seeks to be accessible to both LGBTQ+ people and those who do not identify as such. For design, the iterations of Queer's artwork were varied. Beginning with a rainbow flag distorted and swirling about the square was first used. Then, decided that the colours of the progress flag should be used instead of just the rainbow pride flag, elements of the black, brown, pink, white and blue were added, but it looked too unrefined. Finally, a brushed acrylic paint-style design was created, turning the album artwork into a canvas of sorts. All the colours of the progress flag are included in the design, which gives away to a blank area with the name of the album.
